Annotation of the lecture:

Dynamics of modern life cause demands in effective educational systems, providing with the realization of human rights on continuing education, including the opportunity to study in the individual regime regardless of place and time according to principles of open education. In connection with this the role of distance education in modern sociocultural conditions considerably increases. The distance education particularly can potentially react more adequately to the demands of society and provide with the realization of constitutional rights on education and with getting information of every citizen of the country.

The analysis of peculiarities of the main types of distance educational technologies (case-technology, Internet-technology, telecommunication technology) and related to them innovative organized forms of education (webinars, videoconference, etc.) is carried out.

Today because of the huge popularity of webinars it is  not difficult to find a site on the Internet where you can rent “virtual rooms” for free or at a moderate charge, prepare materials for holding a workshop, lecture, meeting, presentation in advance, inform about a theme, date and time of the event, invite supposed participants and hold the webinar. For example, Webinar.fm, Webinar.tw, Webinar.ru, Webinar2.ru, Firmbook.ru, V-class.ru , Vivavox.com,  Comdi.com,  Imind.com, Openmeetings.de, Onwebinar.ru is a free service of online conferences, webinars and video translations and many others. Many institutions of higher education use their own sites.
